Treatment Cancellation Policy:

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 48 hours’ notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 100% of the visit fee.

For inclement weather during the winter months, we follow the York Region District School Board. Should buses or schools be closed, we will waive our cancellation fee.

The last thing we want is to charge avoidable fees, so please ensure to provide notice for all appointment changes.

Treatment Late Policy:

We completely understand that life can be hectic! Many of us are moms too!  Whether it’s a crying baby, sleeping in, traffic, a work meeting, or just simply one of those days, we know that life can sometimes slow us down.   However just as we do our best to respect your time, we ask that you do the same for us and arrive on time for your appointments. Appointments start and end on time and unless we have the extra time available we cannot extend sessions due to being late.

We thank you kindly in advance for understanding and respecting everyone’s time

Class/Workshop Cancellation:

Your spot in a class/workshop is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed class/workshop leaves a hole in the class/workshop that could have been filled by another person. As such, a class/workshop cancelled with more than 2 weeks’ notice may receive a full refund. If a class/workshop is cancelled with more than 1 week’s notice, a credit to be used towards another class/workshop will be provided. Those who provide less than 1 week’s notice, or miss their class/workshop, will be charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is equivalent to the full amount of the class/workshop fee.

Credit Card Requirement:

In an attempt to improve accessibility to appointment times, credit card information or prepaying for your visit is required to book all initial visits. Credit card information is stored in a 256-bit encrypted, PCI-compliant software (Stripe and Payfirma, through Jane App) equivalent to that of banking technology, and will not be visible to staff.  The card will only be used in the event of missed appointments, late cancellations, or if you request us to use it.
